There is a movement in Alcona, to improve the lives of our beloved dogs and to provide them with access to a wonderful place to run as dogs were meant to ~ off leash.

Our pets deserve the exciting feeling of freedom that a Dog Park can provide. Alcona boasts ample spaces to allow for the development of a “Bark Park” facility, we simply need to generate the needed support and diligent efforts of a group of people with a common purpose. As responsible dog owners we know the care and consideration of a designated area would be both appreciated and respected.

In keeping with our efforts to raise awareness and support, petitions are circulating through town. Watch here in the very near future for a growing list of locations.
